AB This article examines the current changes in the minority segment of the private equity market. It argues that there is a confluence of three major changes: the demographic changes in the U.S. population, the changes in the amount of funding available for private equity, and the elimination of the SSBIC program. Together these changes imply a profound rethinking of the investment concepts in the minority market.
