Second, it scrutinizes the basic features of PE fund formation in Brazil, covering areas such as structure, investment parameters, economics, governance, and documentation and marketing, comparing them wherever applicable with U.S. and U.K. PE models. In conclusion, an FIP structure provides PE players with a valuable investment vehicle for M&A activities in Brazil, with crucial tax efficiencies, fewer transaction costs associated with structuring, and enhanced governance and transparency standards.TOPICS: Private equity, emerging, legal/regulatory/public policy ER -
