AB In the article at hand, first, the acquisition exits ‘trade and secondary sale’ are described with regard to the literature in this field. Second, an overview about the global current situation of acquisition exits is given. Afterwards, being the main part of this article, the focus lies on the analysis of the German market: In particular, an empirical regression analysis aims at providing insight into the impact factors of German trade and secondary sales. Furthermore, the analysis tries to forecast the upcoming German acquisition exit characteristics.TOPICS: Private equity, developed, statistical methods, financial crises and financial market history
